The First Thanksgiving

      The Pilgrims sailed to North America in the 1600s.They had a rough time on the Mayflower.There where about 100 Pilgrims an the Mayflower!The journey to North America was about 2 months (65 days) long!That is a very long time.They landed on Plymouth rock, which is called Plymouth.The Pilgrims had a harsh When they landed in Plymouth, Massachusetts, more than half of them died. An Indian named Squanto found the Pilgrims while he was walking one day. He knew a lot of English, and was willing to help the Pilgrims learn how to survive the harsh conditions of the area.Squanto taught the Pilgrims to hunt, crop, fish, and make bread. After that, the Indians and the Pilgrims had a big feast, which is now called THANKSGIVING!

Human impacts

Humans have had a HUGE impact on the ocean. some positive impacts include. people trying to help clean the ocean.Also some more people are trying to save sea animals from extinction.Some negative impacts include. People are hunting whales. Also People are polluting the ocean!!!!!!!!!!!I think they should start cleaning the ocean.I think this because all of peoples life's are at steak because plankton is part of the life cycle and we will die if plankton goes extinct.

The history of the ocean is that that the Titanic sunk in the ocean and kill about over 3,000 people died.Also in the Gulf of Mexico two oil rigs blew up and its hurting the animals especially baby sea turtles .In the ocean they are doing tourist traps in the oceans and it kills the coral reefs.

There are many animals in the ocean. Some are friendly some are not friendly. Some animals include; Dolphins, sharks, the whales, octopi, and so on. These animals are separated into groups called categories. There is the cephalopod the squid group the mammals group, the fish group. Finely the shell group.

The oceans cover 70% of the earth. Most of the warm water is salt water. The Indian ocean is 10° 00° S latitude and 80° 00° E longitude, the Arctic is 75° 00° N latitude and 00° 00° longitude, Right mow in Haiti they had a earthquake few weeks ago .Also in Haiti they are drinking bad water so they are getting sick, and they don’t have enough aid to care the people!!!

People are polluting the ocean, because people are building factories by the ocean.So the liquid junk into the ocean.Another feature is oil leaks.The oil will kill sea creatures and food.The next feature is putting plastic in the ocean.People are being lazy and throwing a lot of plastic in the ocean and killing sea creatures.
